The same convoy of VW LTs has been stopped by the Polish border guard again! This time it consisted of 9 wonderfully colourful old Ukrainian vans (3.5t GVWR) carrying spools of metal. Heaviest one weighed in at 14t. This set the 3rd record for most overloaded vehicle caught in Poland in a span of 2 months.
Drivers who have been caught the previous time, apart from the usual fine and having vehicles impounded have received a 5 year ban from the Schengen area.
